Development Management Principal Accountabilities
Coordinate the project team during the preparation of the design brief, clarify the design brief where necessary during design development and incorporate any changes that enhance value.
Be responsible for the selection, appointment and management of design, specialist consultants and contractors. We will endeavour to work with known experienced and reliable team members to deliver success.
Manage the project team through the preparation of a planning application in conjunction with maintaining alignment to the client brief and budget.
Responsible for optimising returns through added value or cost savings, and delivering a scheme in line with the client’s business plan.
Provide key stakeholder management by working well with a range of people and disciplines throughout the development process.
Optimise value across the project throughout the post planning development phase whilst ensuring adherence to the client brief.
Acquisition, Disposal and Development Facilities
Apply tried and tested due diligence procedures when assessing sites for purchase. This will include identifying and procuring all the necessary reports which can then be used for reliance throughout the lifetime of the investment.
Work with the wider client team including external legal advisers and obtain the necessary information and documentation required for site/building acquisitions and disposals and for the arrangement of development facilities.
Work closely with the financial stakeholders internally and externally to ensure that their obligations are satisfied throughout all stages of the development.
